How do these MESSAGES apply to YOUTH?

BOOK AN AUTHOR

HUNTER SMITH

In The Jersey Effect, twelve-year NFL punter and Super Bowl XLI Champion Hunter Smith talks about how it is important for youth and athletes to approach their lives with these four areas in mind: academic, athletic, social, and spiritual. When athletics is placed on a pedestal, other areas of our lives suffer. Hunter is passionate about helping students and athletes find balance in their lives.

STEVE & LORRI ZELLER

One might think that with three Indiana Mr. Basketball award winners in the Zeller household that athletics might have been the main priority for the Zellers as they raised their children. That, however, couldn't be further from the truth. Athletics, rather, was an avenue to teach character.  In our sports-obsessed culture, the Zellers hope to share their perspective with others.

DAVE BLISS

Dave Bliss's life fell apart because he lost perspective. Athletics was where he placed his identity and where he discovered his worth. This imbalance ultimately resulted in the termination of his career. Dave is passionate about helping youth learn from his mistakes so that they can approach life with perspective and balance, avoiding an identity crisis in the future.

TAYLOR MORTON

Nothing in this life has been easy for Taylor Morton. When his brother died, he fought the negativity that tried to consume him. When he was told by a Division I football coach that he wasn't good enough to play at that level, he worked hard and ended up walking on for Nick Saban at the University of Alabama. Taylor, a youth pastor, loves to help youth today develop a dedicated work ethic.

SYLVIA HATCHELL

There are too many quitters in America today. So many people venture through life feeling entitled and adopting a victimized mentality. Sylvia Hatchell has fought for her life and fought for her job. She wants to inspire today's youth to fight for what they want rather than expecting handouts; she wants to help them discover the hero within rather than going through life acting like a victim.

KORDELL STEWART

Kordell Stewart lost his mother when he was eleven years old, two cousins while he was in college, and his sister while he was in his twenties. He has also dealt with false rumors and scrutiny. In a world where terrible things happen, Kordell loves encouraging youth to view the glass half-full rather than half-empty so that they can make the most of life.

FROM THE PAGE TO YOUR HEART, FROM THE MIC TO YOUR EARS

Everyone wants a book these days. Sometimes to strengthen one's personal brand. Sometimes for financial gain. Unfortunately, much of the time, the motive behind writing a book has little to do with the message but rather everything that there is to selfishly gain for the author. What makes CORE unique is that we only work with authors who are so passionate about the message in their book that they want to take that message and share it audibly with others. Our CORE authors are also passionate speakers who can have a profound impact on your organization, club, school, congregation, or other group.
